Cammsys Unveils Ultrasound-Based Electric Vehicle Battery Measurement Prototype 'CUBS', Expanding Collaboration with Various Global Companies
- Enhancements in various technological capabilities, including the expansion of ultrasound 4-channel for more accurate measurements and automatic battery state measurement
- Continuation of diagnostic logic and equipment development, with plans to further expand collaboration with diverse global companies
[2023.11.14] Cammsys(Park Youngtae), the IT components and module company, announced on the 14th that it is providing the advanced model 'CUBS (Cammsys Ultrasound Battery Scanner)' to global secondary battery companies and continuing collaboration. This initiative is aimed at expanding the electric vehicle battery diagnostic market.
Cammsys' CUBS is an upgraded version of the battery diagnostic kit developed internally last year. The key feature lies in the automatic extraction of only the necessary data for battery state measurement, thereby enhancing monitoring functions. Also, with the expansion of diagnostic channels to four, it has significantly improved data accuracy and user convenience. Additionally, it can be adjusted to the appropriate frequency band for each battery type.
Cammsys stated that by 2025, it will have developed big data-based diagnostic logic and equipment to measure and diagnose various types of battery property changes. The company aims to lead with new diagnostic technology in the rapidly growing battery market.
"Ultrasound-based battery diagnostic methods are currently gaining attention in the industry as a technology with significant growth potential. This project is not only another leap for Cammsys but also a significant starting point for advancing as a leading player in the battery diagnostic market" stated said Park Young-tae, CEO of Cammsys. Adding, "Considering the current challenges in the electric vehicle and secondary battery industry, which revolve around the efficiency and safety improvement of batteries, we will devote ourselves to enhancing the accuracy of battery state diagnosis by strengthening development collaboration with various global companies."
